Hot Springs
Situated in a spectacular waterfront location on beautiful Upper Arrow Lake, with views of the soaring Monashee Mountains unfolding before them, our hot springs are the centerpiece of the resort.
The heart of Halcyon lies in the healing powers of our hot and warm springs, located on the upper deck. There, you can soak up the beneficial minerals of our waters; float peacefully through the warm pool’s jetted swim channel; massage your back in front of the pressure jets, or simply relax under the clear mountain skies.
If you get too warm, you can cool off in our cold plunge or in the Summer, go for a swim in our seasonal mineral pool on the lower deck. Also located on the lower deck is our splash park, which is always a hit with the kids.
And of course don’t forget the crystal-clear waters of Arrow Lake for a refreshing dip on a warm Summer’s day.

Ancient healing waters
Used for centuries by local First Nations, who called it “great medicine water,” the superheated water that comes from deep underground contains a unique combination of minerals including: sodium, magnesium, calcium, strontium and lithium – which are believed to have therapeutic healing properties.
It is the high lithium content in our waters that makes Halcyon Hot Springs BC’s premier healing hot spring destination. Long known for its antidepressant properties, a variety of studies have shown that lithium has potent anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, including the capacity to regenerate pathways in the brain. When taken in low doses, lithium has the potential to treat and prevent a wide range of neurological diseases, including: traumatic brain injuries, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, ALS, chronic pain, depression and anxiety, as well as addictions.
Our water is so potent it was once bottled as a health tonic and shipped as far globally as London, England. Its purity is such that Halcyon is one of the few hot springs in the world where the water is still able to be bottled and drinkable today.

Halcyon Hot Springs Mineral Water
Halcyon: Quiet and serene with no better name. Historically, First Nations peoples utilized this wondrous water. The waters in the area were heralded for their amazing ability to cure all kinds of sicknesses from nervous to muscular disorders, to liver, kidney and stomach ailments.
The first bottling works was erected in 1898. The water itself was proven to be six times stronger in Lithia than any other spring in North America. Large orders were received from places as far away as London, England.
We are carrying on the tradition, sharing our healing waters with you. Why? Because, like General Dr. Burnham, we too believe that the “water was put here for all mankind”. From us, here, in the pristine mountains of British Columbia, to you, wherever you may be.
