We pride ourselves on using local ingredients, sourced within 100 miles of the restaurant, so not only are our dishes delicious, but contain real fresh and healthy ingredients! So, feel good indulging during your stay; maybe even splurge for a bottle of BC Wine or a cold craft beer.
Morning Sunrise Soak
One of the most spectacular views is of the sunrising over the mountains. Start your morning with a cup of “Kootenay Coffee Company” coffee (provided in your room), grab your plush Halcyon Hot Springs Robe and enjoy a sunrise soak. The minerals found in our pools are sodium, magnesium, calcium, strontium and lithium which studies have shown have an anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory properties – a great way to start the day!
Afternoon Mountain Walk
There are quite a few studies that are now showing the health benefits of walking in nature including improved well-being and mental health, and lower perceived stress. The mountains surrounding the resort are perfect for a brisk and calming nature walk complete with waterfalls, sky reaching trees and lake front trails.
Tranquility on the Water
There is something about stepping off the land and onto the water that creates a tranquil and calming feeling. The resort offers kayak, canoe and paddleboard rentals so you can enjoy a low impact and serene day on the lake. During the summer months the water is extremely refreshing for a swim or a lazy float.
