Hiking/Mountain Biking
With hundreds of kilometers of trails to explore on foot or on bicycle, you’ll never run out of adventures around Halcyon. Whether you’re up for a short walk to a grove of ancient cedar trees; a pedal alongside the cool, clear waters of Kuskanax Creek; or a mountain climb up the Silvercup Ridge Trail, the incredible wilderness around Halcyon offers plenty of opportunities for exploration.
Experience the brand new trail system at Mt. Abriel, just 25 minutes away, North of Nakusp, and its diverse terrain. The trail design takes into account all types of users throughout all seasons, such as adaptive mountain biking, pedestrians, families, dog walkers (on leash from Oct 1-May 31) and children on run bikes.
With two national parks in its back yard, and dozens of adrenaline-pumping mountain bike trails, Revelstoke also offers a wide array of hiking and bicycling opportunities that are just a short trip from Halcyon.
Enjoy alpine meadows and gorgeous views on one of the many new hiking trails and mountain biking trails or ride the Pipe Mountain Coaster at Revelstoke Mountain Resort.
