Do you have any cell service?
No we don’t have cell service but we provide guests with free wifi and have phones available at the Resort.
You will pick up cell service in Nakusp to the South, and just past Blanket Creek Provincial Park to the North. 


We just want to come for a soak in the hot spring pools and don’t want to stay overnight, do we need to make reservations?
No reservations for a soak needed, drop in guests for the hot spring pools are welcome. 


Do we need to make reservations for the Kingfisher restaurant?
We do recommend making dinner reservations in advance, but you won’t need to make reservations for breakfast or lunch.

We have booked an overnight stay, what’s included in the room rate?
Your overnight stay includes pool passes for unlimited access to the hot springs, free parking, free wifi, in-room coffee and toiletries, access to the gym, pool towel service and luxury plush robes to use during your stay. You can find a full overview on what’s included here


Where and how do I book Spa appointments?
Appointments for the spa have to be booked at the front desk. Please note that we have a 24 hour cancellation policy on spa appointments. You can reach the front desk under 1-888-689-4699 Ext. 0


Are your massage therapists registered?
Our massage therapists are certified but not registered. 


Do you offer RV camping or tenting?
As of 2018, we are no longer offering RV camping or tenting. But we do have many cozy cabins, cottages & chalets to put your feet up in. 


Do you have pet friendly rooms and how much is the pet charge?
Yes, we have a variety of rooms that are pet friendly. We also have strict ‘no pets’ rooms for those with allergies. All our loft chalets, king chalets and studio suites are strictly not pet friendly.
The daily pet-charge is $25 per night. 


I have food allergies / am vegan / eat gluten free etc.; can the Kingfisher Restaurant cater to my needs?
Our kitchen team can cater to almost all dietary requirements, please ask your server for more information.


Are children allowed in the pools?
Yes, but Children up to the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Please note that we have an Adult Only Time in the pools from 9pm on. 
Small children are required to have a swim diaper on (which we have available for purchase).


Is there a quiet time in the pools?
Yes, quiet time is from 8.00 am to 9.3o am.
Adult only time is from 9.00 pm.


Am I allowed to bring a drink to the pool deck?
Yes, it is important to hydrate when using the hot spring pools. We allow water in clear bottles only, absolutely no glass or alcohol. 


Can I have a glass of wine by the pools?
Unfortunately regulation states that no alcohol can be consumed in the pools or on the pool deck.


How far away is the next store?
The next grocery store is in Nakusp, approx. 33 km away from Halcyon Hot Springs.
You can find Sandwiches, Pastries and Snacks at our Halcyon Pantry.


When is your seasonal pool open?
Our seasonal pool usually opens on the May long weekend, depending on the weather, and closes for the winter after the Thanksgiving weekend in October (depending on the weather).


Do you have a lifeguard on duty?
Our seasonal swimming pool will always have a lifeguard on duty. Our hot pools do not require a lifeguard.


What if I forget my bathing suit?
No problem! We sell bathing suits in our retail area and offer bathing suit rentals. 


What if I require assistance or there is an emergency after front desk hours?
There is an emergency-only phone number listed on the main lodge front door and we also have a pay phone outside the main entrance to the right.


What other activities are available at Halcyon Hot Springs?
In the summer, we offer kayak, canoe, and paddle board rentals and there are a few lovely walking paths around the resort. 
If you bring a fishing rod, there are some great spots to fish along the rock bluffs on shore.
At times we host yoga retreats or offer classes.
In the winter, we offer snow shoe rentals to explore the beautiful area.
Of course, our Hot Springs and Spa are our main attraction.
