Guest Services / Front Desk Agent
We are currently seeking a full time Front Desk Agent to join our team.
Our Front Desk personnel are the vital first impression that sets the stage for our guest’s stay, they are the ‘go to’ people for any needs or requests, and the important smile that sends our guests on their way happy.
The Front Desk is the main connection point between guests and the hotel as well as other resort departments. Check ins/check outs, guest billing and payment processing, answering phone calls and emails, solving guest requests in a timely and professional manner, preparation of guest check in packages, are just some of the daily duties of a Front Desk Agent.
Qualifications & Skills:
-Previous hotel/ front desk experience is preferred.
-Being a team player.
-Being able to handle multiple priorities under pressure.
-Excellent problem solving skills
-Basic computer skills required.
-Great attention to detail in order to complete day-to-day tasks consistently.
-Being warm and friendly with a genuine big smile is essential.
Employment at Halcyon Hot Springs includes:

-Wage is dependent on experience.
-Ownership of a vehicle is helpful, but not required, as we run a free shuttle for team members between Nakusp and Halcyon Resort.

The Kingfisher Restaurant at Halcyon Hot Springs Resort & Spa is looking for an experienced First Cook to join our culinary team. We pride ourselves on producing exciting and delicious food from locally sourced ingredients.
We are looking for a versatile individual with the ability to work stations for breakfast, lunch and dinner preparation, as well as setting up banquets and grill for functions. We offer a year-round full-time employment, with a competitive wage and benefits.
A culinary trade diploma and minimum of 3 years of proven experience in a similar role are required.
