Resort Updates

We would like to take the time to provide a new update on our course of action. Our top priority remains the health and safety of our guests, our staff, and the local community. We are continuing to monitor the dynamic COVID-19 situation and provide a safe and healthy escape to nature. This post will be edited as the situation evolves.

Halcyon Hot Springs Staff will be undergoing intensive Health and Safety training during the week of May 23rd, to 30th 2020 and the resort will be closed for that time. We will be open afterward for limited, secluded bookings where we have adopted a no-touch check-in and service protocol.

At this time, we will not be allowing any day traffic to the resort. This is in an effort to increase social distancing and at this time, we are encouraging everyone to do their part to mitigate the risks. The Kingfisher restaurant is closed at this time and we have a selection of Grab and Go items and fresh groceries available at our front desk.

We are a small resort on a property of over 35 acres. All of our accommodations are self-contained, and we have been assured by Interior Health that all of our precautions are up to and beyond their standards. We have been working very closely with Interior Health on this and continuously ensuring that we meet and exceed all required precautions that are requested of us.

We are taking this time of solitude to begin a revitalisation process at Halcyon. Our public and common areas will be closed for rejuvenation and repair in order to better serve our guests in the future. This will see the closure of our front check-in area, hot pools and more.

We will be continuing with measures put into place at the onset of this outbreak, including additional cleaning procedures and screening policies. As a reminder, any guests who have been out of Canada in the last 14 days or have been ill during that time frame will unfortunately be restricted from booking.
